Vending Machine History and Use
A vending machine is a coin-operated machine through which different goods may be retailed. Vending machines should not be lumped with coin-activated amusement games or juke boxes.
The first known commercial usage of vending machines came early in the 18th century in England, at which point coin-operated “honour boxes” were employed to retail snuff and tobacco.
