Vending Machine History and Use
A vending machine is a coin-operated object through which many goods may be vended. Vending machines are not to be taken for coin-operated amusement rides or juke machines.
The first commercial use of vending machines happened early in the 18th century in England, at which point coin-operated “honour boxes” were used to vend snuff and tobacco.
